The useful part.
Getting there
Solstice Flats is 40 minutes east of Reno on NV-447. Free shuttles run from downtown Reno every 20 minutes, 12:00–03:00 daily. Parking passes are $30/day at the gate — carpools of 4+ park free.
Camping
Campground gates open Thursday 18:00. Car camping and walk-in meadow sites, both with showers, potable water and a general store. Quiet hours 03:00–08:00 — the desert enforces the rest.
The rules
No glass, no drones, no unauthorized vending. Empty bottles welcome — refills are free. Medical tents at every stage, staffed around the clock. Pack it in, pack it out: leave the flats the way the light found them.
