02 — The journey

From cherry
to cup.

Great coffee is a chain of small, careful hours. Here's the road every bean travels before it reaches your grinder — scroll the track to follow it along.

Cherry

Hand-picked at peak ripeness, one deep-red cherry at a time — greens and unders left on the branch.

Ferment

Pulped and rested in tank, letting natural sugars break down over thirty-six patient hours.

Dry

Laid out thin on raised beds and turned by hand under the sun until the moisture is just right.

Roast

Roasted here in small drums over a low flame, each origin on its own curve to first crack and beyond.

Rest

Bagged with a one-way valve and left to degas for a few days, so the flavour settles and deepens.

Cup

Ground to order at your door and poured — the whole journey, finally, in a single warm cup.
