Every coffee is a single farm or washing station, roasted to the level that flatters it — not to a house style. The roast meter reads exactly how dark we take each one.

"We roast in ten-kilo drops so nothing sits. A bag that leaves here is at most thirty-six hours off the cooling tray."
Loop & Larder started as a Tuesday habit: one drum roaster in a former grocer's on Larder Lane, a chalkboard of four origins, and a rule that we'd only sell what we could roast that week. The subscription grew out of the regulars who kept asking us to just remember — their coffee, their grind, their Thursday.
So that's the whole model. We cup and buy small lots, roast each to the level that suits it, and ship within a day of the roast. You tell us the origin, the grind and the rhythm once; we keep the loop turning. Skip the weeks you're travelling, swap when a new origin lands, cancel the day it stops being a joy.
Every bag is a compostable kraft valve-bag, printed with the farm, the process, the roast date and a brew ratio that actually works. Nothing here is roasted to a corporate curve. It's roasted to taste like the place it came from.
Give someone a better morning, on repeat.
A gift subscription arrives as a hand-numbered card, then a fresh bag every cadence you choose — three months, six, or until they tell you to stop. Which they won't.
